About the event
We are blessed by the gift of Joy. We live in a world that so readily demonstrates reason to not find joy - homelessness, war, greed, poverty - we all have our reactions to these things. And yet we find Joy. For it is a route to love (which is the centre of all balanced dualities). Joy is an expression of Love. And Love is what matters, it is what holds us up. So find your blessing, find your Joy and let it hold you up!
With blessings of Joy to you all, Linda and Kimberly.

QUOTATIONS ON JOY

From joy I came, For joy I live, and in Thy sacred joy I shall melt again.
— Paramahamsa Yogananda
Joy is an intermezzo of gratitude that interrupts the routine motion of life.
— Lewis B. Smedes
The atom's soul is nothing but energy. Spirit blazes in the dullest clay. The life of every man — the heart of it — is pure and holy joy.
— George Leonard
This silent ability to impart to others the light of Divine Intelligence, and all its attendant qualities of joy, warmth, insight, and revelation, is captured in a Sufi phrase, "the smiling forehead." For illumination is always linked with a kind of smile, like the mysterious, lingering smile of the Buddha.
— Pir Vilayat Inayat Khan
