As an outreach to people who are suffering injustice on Friday, January 17th I am inviting any who wish to "Write for Rights", a program of Amnesty International, to join me at my apartment from 2 to 4pm.

Please bring a candle and journal with you. If you forget, we will have some provided.

Dr. Vera Etches joins the circle to share her experiences in Interfaith Prayer, working with Christian, Muslim and Jewish faiths as she studied at the Vancouver School of Theology. Watercolour devotional book making followed by discussion.

Tanya Hewitt will lead us through a meditation on the glory of creation and the relationship humans have developed with nature.

Kimberly Thomas will be leading our celebration of Love, including a cacao ceremony that will bring us to focus on our hearts and the emotions of compassion, love (including self-love), joy and forgiveness. We will have contemplative practices and open discussion with music.

We have been invited to share a meal and ideas for future gatherings... and even a name, at Lynn Lavitoire's home in Cumberland.

Laurie McKnight hosts a celebration of spring and the joy of creation and our call to be healers of the earth.

We will be listening to and exploring the power of the Easter story as found in John’s Gospel (18:1-20) using a practice of contemplative art.

We will be led by Tanya Hewitt in a reflection on Lent, Women, and Faith. We will be listening to and reading some poetry, learning abpout impactful women, having a small group discussion, reading and interpreting bible passages,as well as learning about floriography and planting some seed.

Elizabeth December leads a gathering to learn about Womanist Theology and Black History.

We invite you to this joyful celebration of peace in our world, where we will reflect on how we bring pace into the world. The meditation is led by Kimberly Thomas, an avid photographer, artist and healer who seeks to turn her life into a practice of peace.
